Alpha 23

Our first Alpha for 2023 will run on Tuesday evenings from 11th April till 27th June.starting each night sharing dinner together, before watching an Alpha video and then spending some time discussing what this may raise for the people there.

Building the Team:  Are you available to assist in any way?  Would you assist in praying, setting up, welcoming, hosting, catering, or packing up?

Inviting: Is there someone in your family, your neighbourhood, your work or in one of your interest activities whom you would like to know more about the Christian faith?

Now is the time to start praying for them and then asking them if they would be interested in attending an Alpha Course.

Let us know:  If you can assist in any way, please let Rev David Campbell or Gareth Rowe know (0414304077)

Alpha is a worldwide phenomenon – run in 169 countries and attended by over 27 million people. On Alpha, guests are invited to freely explore the questions of life, faith and meaning in a relaxed setting over 10 weekly sessions with an Alpha Retreat on a Saturday. Each session, people enjoy great food, laughter and learning in a fun and friendly atmosphere where no question about life is seen as too simple or too big…questions like – Is there a God? What is the point of life? Why is there suffering in the world? What happens when we die? Is forgiveness possible? After a meal and a film each week, guests break into small groups to discuss the content of the film. Alpha is for everyone.

Alpha guests learn and listen to talks on subjects as diverse as: Who is Jesus?, How Can I Have Faith?, How does God guide us?, What does the Holy Spirit do?,
How Can I Make the Most of the Rest of My Life? etc.

Alpha is for everyone, especially:
Those wanting to grow in understanding of Jesus and faith
Those wanting to investigate Christianity
Those who are new to the Christian faith
